We specialize in native plant habitat design and dense planting plans. If you are interested in design work please start with a consultation.

Design Consultation:

Step 1 - Schedule a 90 minute consultation ($165). During this time come prepared with notes about how you utilize the space and any specific requests or ideas you may have for the design. If you would like to collaborate in more detail, another scheduled consultation may be needed.

Step 2 - If we decide to move forward with working together, I will ask for a 50% deposit before I begin measuring your garden to create a base map for the design.

Step 3 - Design presentation and plant list with visuals. We will go over the design in detail and I will answer any questions you may have. It is possible that I may make some small changes to the design if needed.

Step 4 - I will send you all the design materials you will need for installation such as a drawn to scale design, materials and plant list, land preparation suggestions and irrigation/watering recommendations.

The minimum cost of a design is $600 no matter the square footage. The cost of a design for an average sized yard space of 1200 square feet, about 35×35 feet, is roughly $1400 and is dependent on elements of the design such as hardscaping details like pathways, patios or special features like raised beds, etc.

Garden Coaching:

This consult will based on your specific needs. Are you beginning your garden journey and would like to learn about ecological design and gardening practices? Have you inherited an established native garden and need to learn how to care for it? Maybe you’re an avid gardener and need some fresh ideas? This time can include a site assessment, loose design ideas, plant identification, soil health suggestions, a native plant list that is specific for the conditions of your yard, advice about planting, plant placement, suggestions about land preparation for planting, contractor referrals, etc.
